Figure skating pro shop since 2008
The name „Ice Expression“ and the associated online store www.eiskunstlauf-shop.de have been around since March 2008. It was launched by ice skating coach and former competitive athlete Romy Jaster. She had recognized the need for high-quality equipment including expert advice for figure skaters and opened a web store focused on these needs.

Founder and owner:
Romy Jaster (born Schöne) started figure skating training in Dresden when she was four years old. After graduating from high school, she switched from competitive single skating to synchronized figure skating. She participated in the 2004 World Championships in Zagreb with her former team. She successfully completed her studies of business administration at the TU Dresden in August 2004.
With her studies she also ended her active career and started to work as a figure skating coach (A-License). She is also a technical specialist for synchronized figure skating and participates in ISU competitions and championships in this role.
Pro shop in Dresden
In order to serve our customers even better, we have opened a store in Dresden in June 2010 to complement our Internet presence. There, not only the store assortment can be viewed and tried on, but also the appropriate service such as skate thermal adjustment and the sharpening of blades are offered.
